WHO LET THE DOGS IN?
Join us in celebrating North Carolina’s repeal of the “no dogs in brewery” law today Sept 1st!
How apropos on National Dog Day that we get to post some more details on our “Who Let the Dogs in?” event this coming Sunday, September 1 to celebrate the passage of legislature allowing dogs in breweries. So here are the details:
Live Music: Hank Barbee from 2-4P and sustenance from Poor Piggy’s 1-5P
K9000 Dog Wash USA will be offering free 10 minute dog washes with their mobile unit for the duration of the event
For the first 100 interested, a $10 donation gets you: a dog wash from K9000 available at both locations (Oleander and CB Road); free nail trim certificates from TLC Groomers and a free dog treat upon arrival at the nail trim. All of the proceeds go to paws4people foundation
On top of that, Flying Machine will offer free “Dog Beer” (bone broth but we will post ingredients to avoid potential allergic reactions) for our furry friends, a custom made steampunk dog bowl from our friend Dan Melville for sale (swipe to see image). Again, the proceeds from this sale and a portion of sales from our special doggie day cask beer will go to the aforementioned paws4people foundation. We know this is a lot to take in, but we all love our dogs and want to celebrate them in the best way possible this coming Sunday. All of the above is completely voluntary, so even if you just want to come pet some dogs, drink some beers, and listen to music, head over and enjoy!
